Fudo Aikawa dons the mantle of Gelato Red, leader of a group of protectors that stand against an organization bent on world domination. Desumi Magahara is a fierce warrior in the ranks of that organization. After first meeting, it was love at first sight for Fudo, and they agreed to go out. However, their relationship must remain a secret, though that doesn’t mean they can’t make special moments for themselves.

Our Last Crusader or the Rise of a New World
For years, war has raged between the Empire and the realm of witches, Nebulis. On the battlefield, a talented young knight is tasked with killing the princess of Nebulis, but he is taken by her beauty and she taken by his honor.
These series have different settings, but very similar content. Both main characters should be enemies, but yet they fall in love at first sight. While Our Last Crusade doesn’t make them a happy couple immediately, the feelings are clearly there. Our Last Crusade also has more tag-team type battles rather than them pretending to fight.
Boarding School Juliet
At the prestigious Dahlia Academy, the Black Dogs and White Cats dorms have a long-standing feud. However, the leaders of these dorms, Romio Inuzuka and Juliet Persia, aren’t quite the bitter enemies that they act like. In fact, they are very much in love, but hide their relationship to keep the peace.
This one, unlike Love After Domination, is a much more obvious Romeo and Juliet inspired tale. Regardless, the series both have much of the same content. They are both about two people that pretend to be enemies in public, but sneak away to have cute couple moments.
Maoyu – Archenemy and Hero
After fifteen years of warfare with the demon world, the Hero is unsatisfied with their advance and rushes forward to the Demon Queen’s Castle. There he not only finds a beautiful woman that is the queen, but she needs his help. To his surprise, she offers a way to not only help his country, but hers as well. Together, they join forces to make that dream a reality.
Though Maoyu takes place in a fantasy setting, it, like Love After World Domination, is about two people that should be enemies actually falling in love with each other and trying to build a world of peace. However, Maoyu does dedicate itself to furthering things towards that ultimate goal whereas Love After World Domination is mostly just cute couple moments.

Super HxEros
Earth was on the verge of disaster after aliens invaded and began to drain the sexual energy of Earth’s humans. However, heroes appeared that use H abilities fueled by erotic power in order to fight back. Retto and Kirara are childhood friends that, after rekindling their relationship, have both been drafted into the Super HxEros organization to save the world with their raging libidos.
If you can handle things being a lot more lewd, Super HxEros is actually a pretty amazing (ecchi) comedy and Super Sentai parody. It even has a bit of romance to it, though less wholesome than Love After World Domination.
I’m Gonna Be The Twin Tail
Twin tails are the glory of mankind – at least according to Souji Mitsuka. Souji likes to spend his time rating the twin tails on girls, but when monsters from space attack to claim the twin tails for themselves, he is enlisted by a strange woman to fight them off. Suddenly, he transforms into the Twin Tail Warrior Tail-Red!
Instead of gelato, we have twin tails. Gonna be the Twin Tail doesn’t really have much plot. It is a genderbender about a twin tail-obsessed character that fights aliens. It is pretty comical, though gets repetitive.
Samurai Flamenco
Fueled by hero tales, the legend of his own grandfather, and an enduring sense of justice, the superstar model Masayoshi Hazama turns into the Samurai Flamenco by night. Featuring a cheesy handmade costume, he tries to foil crime with his nonexistent fighting skills.
While Samurai Flamenco actually becomes more serious as things go on, it starts off very much as a person wanting to become a super hero despite not having much in the way of super powers or even athletic ability. It ends up in some comedic places before it dedicates itself to actually being a Super Sentai series.
For Fans of New Couples Doing Cute Couple Things
Tonikawa Kawaii – Over the Moon For You
After being ridiculed for his strange name, Nasa, like the space agency, decides he will become a man even greater than the starry sky. However, one night, that all changes when he sees a beautiful girl. She ends up saving him from being fatally hit by a truck while crossing the street to talk to her. Having chased her down despite his serious injuries, he asks her out. She says she will go out with him if they marry. He agrees, and passes out. Waking up to find her gone, he abandons his ambitions until one day when she shows up with their marriage registration.
If you enjoy watching new couple getting to know each other and doing cute couple things, then this series is a big dose of sugary sweetness. It just goes a step further and has them get married without actually dating first, so they end up spending a lot more time together.
My Love Story
With his tall stature, bulky muscles, and mean face, Takeo Gouda is not exactly a hit with the ladies. Men and women alike find him terrifying, but he still tries to do the right thing. One day he saves a cute girl from a molester on the train. When she reaches out to him again, he thinks she likes his handsome friend, but he is shocked to discover she actually likes him!
Both My Love Story and Love After World Domination focus on new love blooming at first sight between two unlikely individuals. Much of the story after is just them doing couple thing such as going on dates. Interestingly enough, Takeo has a bit of a super hero edge to him as well, in that he does some heroic stuff with that large body of his.
Banished From The Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside
Red was once the member of a hero’s party that sought to destroy the Demon Lord Taraxon. However, while Red was powerful at first, his companions soon eclipsed him, and thus, pushed him out of the party. Hoping for a more laid-back life, he moves to the country with a dream to start an apothecary. He hopes to keep his past as an adventurer a secret, but that becomes increasingly more difficult when an adventurer named Rit from his past asks to move in with him.
While Red and Rit were never enemies, Banished From The Hero’s Party offers a different look at a new relationship. A sort of look that might be similar to if Fudo left the Gelato Rangers and decided he wanted to be a pharmacist. While Banished From The Hero’s Party is in a fantasy setting, a romance in any setting is just as sweet.
Momokuri
Yuki Kurihara has finally been granted her wish of dating her crush, Momo. At a glance, she looks like just a cute girl, but Yuki is actually a Momo fanatic. Momo, on the other hand, is just a boy that is inexperienced at love and just wants to make Yuki happy.
Both series follow a new couple as they get to know each other. However, while they are both fluffy wholesome romance series, they each have their quirks. In Momokuri, the quirk is that she was stalking her paramour for a long time prior to the start of their relationship.
Wotakoi – Love is Difficult for an Otaku
After discovering they work at the same company, a gaming otaku and a fujoshi rekindle for the first time since middle school. After some good old fashioned after work drinks, they decide to start dating, but dating an otaku as an otaku is more difficult that one would think.
Both series, though they have different quirky hooks, are ultimately about a couple forming a fresh new relationship. They learn more about each other, get to see each other’s cuter sides, and do couple things together. However, the couple things that otaku do do not always align with the more normal tastes in Love After World Domination.
