Anime Like Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc.

In recent years, mysterious creatures known as Kaii have regularly started appearing and destroying cities. To combat this mysterious threat, the only ones capable of defeating them, magical girls, have become a blooming new profession.

Kana Sakuragi is a studious recent college graduate on the job hunt. While not seeking to become a magical girl, when Kaii attack a company during a job interview, she assists the headstrong Hitomi Koshigaya in taking out the threat.

Upon her victory, Hitomi extends a job offer to Kana to come work for her employer, Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc, a small start-up company full of passionate, eccentric individuals.

Chizuko Date has moved around her whole life. However, after visiting her grandfather in Niigata, she becomes enamored with magical girl berry Blossom who defends the town from the evil organization Fossa Magna, and decides to stay.

However, with Fossa Magna and its leader Chroma being so inept, no one really pays much attention to their not-so-epic battles anymore. After accidentally befriending Chroma, Chizuko finds herself pulled into Fossa Magna and vows to use the organization to make Berry Blossom shine even brighter!

After a strange dream, Yuuko wakes up to discover that she has grown demon horns. Her mother informs her that they are descendants of a demon that was banished to live powerless by the magical girls of the Light Clan.

Apparently, the only way to break the curse is to find a magical girl and murder her. While she happens upon a magical girl, her power is vastly superior to hers. The magical girl in question, Momo, takes pity on her and decides to train her in order to unlock her latent powers.

Just when the world was on the brink of another apocalyptic war, superheroes appeared throughout the world. Gifted with magnificent powers, they exist to serve and protect the citizens of their nation.

Shy is Japan’s hero who is gifted with super strength. However, her personality is definitely not part of her superhero abilities. Timid and anxious, Shy questions her abilities as a hero, particularly after one of her rescues still resulted in a girl being injured.

However, when she meets this girl again as one of her new classmates, Shy begins to summon the strength to back up her desire to protect people.

In Stern Bild City, there exist those with NEXT powers who can use them for good or evil. A TV channel called Hero TV showcases heroes as they chase down evildoers and earn Hero Points.

Enter, Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, or “Wild Tiger,” a veteran hero, but his performance has been on the downswing. In order to do better, he pairs up with a new hero, Barnaby Brooks Jr., or “Bunny,” but they mix about as well as oil and water.

Tetsurou Okino is a young engineer who excited to start his new job at a vermin extermination company. However, his excitement stems from getting to use the new robot Bullbuster that he designed himself for the first time in the field.

However, his new employer is Namidome Industries, a small company with little funding and a huge task. The company has been hired by the previous residents of a small island community who were chased out of their homes after mutated giant monsters started to appear.

With little resources, Okino finds that his work isn’t just using Bullbuster to fight monsters, but is more about managing fuel costs, considering the cost of each bullet fired, and investigating where these monsters are coming from in the first place.

In order to cut down on crime and terrorism, an organization called Direct Attack was formed. They take orphaned girls and turn them into agents that protect the country in the Lycoris program.

Takina is one gifted agent, but after a hostage situation leads to insubordination, she is transferred out of the main unit to a lower key branch of Lycoris ran out of a cafe.

Despite being paired with a famed, but more easy-going Lycoris prodigy Chisato while there, Takina is determined to get back into DA, but her new partner is determined to prove that there is more to life than just taking lives.
