Anime Like Apocalypse Hotel

In the midst of an apocalypse, the remnants of humanity fled earth. For the owner of the Gingarou Hotel in Ginza, he told his robot staff that humanity would return someday and they should be ready to serve guests when they did.

Hundreds of years have passed since then, and Yachiyo, the hotel clerk at the front desk, has kept the hotel running despite no guests and the dwindling functionality of the other staff members.

As they await humanity’s return, a small miracle occurs—they receive their first guest.

Forever in twilight in a space between life and death, the Tasogare Hotel welcomes customers who are unaware of who they are or even if they are living or dead. Given rooms filled with items that may help them remember who they are and what happened to them that caused them to be stuck in this limbo, most guests unravel their mystery and move on after a few days.

However, on occasion, there are some guests of the Tasogare Hotel who remember who they are, but do not move on. Neko Tsukahara is one such woman. Too invested in the plights of other guests, Neko decides to stay on at the hotel as a maid.

Since she was a child, Aoi could see spirits. One day, while feeding a hungry spirit, she is whisked off to the hidden realm of spirits where an ogre states she will be his bride.

It seems her grandfather sold her off to marry him in order to satisfy his debt that he accrued at his inn in the spirit world. Instead, Aoi refuses and works off the debt owed in the bed and breakfast as an employee.

Mars has now become known as Aqua, a planet of water. On this planet is the peaceful city of drift upon the sea called Neo Venezia.

However, with the world dangerous and all transportation shut down, she struggles to find a way to search for her.

However, hope comes in the form of an abandoned country train and a senile conductor that teachers Shizuru how to drive it. With three classmates that decide to tag along at the last minute, Shizuru sets out on a long, strange trip to Ikebukuro to find her friend.

With all civilization dead, only Chito and Yuuri remain. Together they decide to hop on their motorbike and wander aimlessly looking for their next meal and fuel.

Despite a bleak existence, they remain each other’s light in this dead world.

After the Space Colonization Program, Earth has been abandoned and humanity is near extinction. A deadly rain permanently falls on Earth and the only people alive, known as “Junkers,” continuously scavenge the ruins.

One Junker sneaks alone into a dangerous part of Sarcophagus City where he meets Yumeni, a robot companion. She mistakes him for a customer in her planetarium and tries to show him the stars, but the projector is broken.

Pitying her, he tries to fix it.

After an alien invasion, Earth was overrun by the machine lifeforms they created as weapons of war. With humanity making their last stand, they retreated to the moon and dispatched a series of combat androids from a space station to eventually reclaim the Earth for humanity.

Brutal conflict and harsh realities play out before the eyes of 2B, an all-purpose battle class android who starts to waver as she questions her very existence and what she must sacrifice for the sake of humanity.

After constantly declining birth rates, human civilization is almost extinct. The few humans left now coexist with fairies who have extremely advanced technology and very little regard for humans safety.

The story follows a mediator between humans and fairies that tries to make it so both races can live peacefully.
