After his sister was stolen away by a kaiju born from humanity’s warped desires, Keiji the rooster vowed to find the monster that took her and kill him. However, the kaiju that plague humanity are changing, and Keiji is but one rooster.

Bang Brave Bang Bravern

Humanity has advanced to the point where mechs called Titatonostriders are used for combat in warfare. In a joint training exercise, soldiers from around the world have gathered on the Hawaiian island of Oahu to put their Titatonostriders to the test in combat exercises. Ao Isami from the Japanese Self-Defense Force and Lewis Smith from the United States Marine Corps are two participants that cross paths during a battle.

However, the training exercise is disrupted when an unknown alien enemy starts decimating the surrounding area. With Titatonostrider weaponry proving majorly ineffective, hope seems lost until a giant robot proclaiming himself as Bravern swoops in and tells Isami that he is to be his pilot.

Wahira has always admired the cute girls who work in maid cafes, and as such, she has decided to move to Akihabara to become a maid!

While she gets a job at the Ton Tokoton maid cafe, she discovers that after one normal day with her more mature and also newly employed co-worker Ranko Mannen that things are not what they seem.

She and Ranko are sent to run an errand to a rival maid cafe, and it ends up as a complete blood bath as they get caught up in the violent maid wars of Akihabara.

The Fable

An assassin simply known as Fable has earned a legendary reputation in the underworld for ruthlessly, efficiently, and successfully carrying out hits for organized crime. However, after six years of efficient murder, his boss fears too much heat from authorities and tells Fable to take a year off.

Forced to move to Osaka and live like a normal citizen for a year with his handler staying with him under the guise of being his sister, Fable decides to try his best to follow these new orders.

However, the Osaka mafia is not happy to learn that the legendary Fable has come to stay in their territory. Between threats and plots going on in town, Fable still tries his best to be a perfectly normal person.

  • The Fable is about a master assassin told to give it a break and live low-key for awhile, but being raised as an assassin, he doesn’t know how to do that.
  • The Fable is higher on slice of life and lower on actual action. Comedy throughout, though.
  • Much of the action in The Fable is the main character helping people he knows deal with criminal scumbags. No kaiju fighting here.
