Anime Like Daemons of the Shadow Realm

In an isolated mountain village, twins are born, separated by day and night. While Yuru, the male twin, grows up a hunter, his sister, Asa, is locked away in the cage to perform a special duty. One day, the village is attacked by men in helicopters who descend and start killing everyone in sight.

When Yuru rushes to defend Asa, he finds a dead body and her killer claims to be the real Asa who was spirited away when their parents ran from the village years ago.

With the help of a frequent outside visitor to their village, Yuru leaves his mountain home and descends to the modern world, searching for answers.

I’d watch a whole anime about Right and Left left alone in the modern world. If you are looking for more anime recommendations like Daemons of the Shadow Realm, head on down below.
