The only thing that gets overworked salaryman Sasaki through his day at his soul-sucking office job is the chance to see the cheerful smile of Yamada, a cashier at his local supermarket. All it takes is one smile and he is rejuvenated.
After one particularly bad day, Sasaki is disappointed to learn that Yamada’s shift ended already. Disappointed, he ends up having a smoke behind the supermarket where he meets a bold and playful woman doing the same.
