After dying from overwork, an office lady is allowed to reincarnate into another world and God offers to grant her a special ability. Instead of magnificent powers, all she wants to do is what she didn’t have time for in her previous life – pet fluffy things!
As such, she is reincarnated as Nefertima Osfe, third child of Duke Osfe. As she grows up, it turns out she has an unnatural ability to befriend animals with everything from butterflies to holy beasts and dragons instantly becoming her friends.
While she indulges her love of animals at every opportunity, being the daughter of a noble able to befriend such dangerous and legendary creatures also attracts attention.
Isekai is escapism, and not all escapism has to be an exciting power fantasy. Sometimes you really do just want to pet fluffy things. If you are looking for more anime recommendations like Fluffy Paradise, head on down below.

For Fans of Gushing Over Animals
Kemono Michi
Shibata Genzo is both a professional wrestler and an animal lover. One day, he is summoned to another world by a princess. She makes the mistake of asking him to rid her kingdom of these evil beasts.
Instead of doing that, Genzo suplexes her and heads off to start a monster pet shop.
Of all the other recommendations here, Kemono Michi is – without a doubt – the most similar experience to Fluffy Paradise.
Both Fluffy Paradise and Kemono Michi are isekai anime about main characters that love animals. When they end up in their new isekai world, they forsake any shot at adventure to indulge their love of animals by befriending every fantasy creature that they meet.
The only true difference is that while Fluffy Paradise is more a wholesome slice of life anime, Kemono Michi is a distinctly comedy isekai that gets its comedy from the main character’s intense interest in animals – including beast people – and the scumminess of his companions.
Too Cute Crisis
Liza Luna is part of a destructive race of aliens, and when seeing Earth, she determines it should be destroyed. However, upon further inspection, Liza discovers a number of pleasures on Earth – primary among them, our pets!
After visiting a Cat Cafe and adopting a stray cat of her own, Liza spars Earth from destruction and gets caught in too cute pet shenanigans.
While Too Cute Crisis is not an isekai anime, it is an anime that shares a passion for cute animals like Fluffy Paradise. However, Too Cute Crisis is instead about an alien invasion thwarted by the alien scout’s discovery that modern house pets are too cute.
Fluffy Paradise gets a lot of its charm from using fantasy animals and gushing over them. However, if you just want more passionate animal adoration, Too Cute Crisis does an excellent job highlighting the cute points for everything from dogs and cats to more obscure house pets.
Beast Tamer
Rein is a beast tamer and member of the Hero’s Party. However, because beast taming is rather weak magic, he is used as more of a errand boy for them instead.
That all changes when they finally fire him and he is set adrift. Kicked out of the party, he ends up meeting a girl from one of the strongest species of beast people and tames her.
Together, they become magnificent adventurers while the Hero’s Party begins to realize that their previous success was all due to Rein’s support.
While Beast Tamer is a standard fantasy anime and not an isekai anime, it does follow a main character who is endlessly nice like Neema and has an high affinity for animals. However, his affinity just means that he has a legendary aptitude as a beast tamer, a skill considered quite weak in that world.
However, while Beast Tamer is about the main character living a more pleasant life with his new companions, it is a bit of a different experience from Fluffy Paradise.
Fluffy Paradise is very much a cute slice of life isekai while Beast Tamer is more focused on adventure and the beast girls he ends up taming and recruiting as his companions are very obviously a harem.
For Fans of Isekai’d as a Child
Ascendance of a Bookworm
Motosu Urano loves books. She recently got her librarian certification and was about to enter her dream job when an earthquake caused her to be crushed by her collection of books.
She is reincarnated into a new world as the five year old daughter of a soldier. Unfortunately, in this world, books are reserved for the elite nobility.
What do you do when your station in life does not afford you access to books? Make your own.
Both Fluffy Paradise and Ascendance of a Bookworm are isekai anime with a female protagonist who reincarnates into another world as a child. Both main characters also have a very specific passion from their previous life that they still wish to indulge in their new world, even if it is different from modern Japan.
Whereas Fluffy Paradise follows Neema’s passion for animals, Ascendance of a Bookworm follows Myne’s passion for books. However, in her world, books aren’t affordable, and she is the daughter of a soldier. So the series becomes about her pursuing ways to make books so everyone can enjoy reading.
Ascendance of a Bookworm is similarly slice of life-focused like Fluffy Paradise, but does have a more meaty premise that it focuses on compared to Fluffy Paradise that is often about creating ways to introduce Neema to more animals.
By The Grace of The Gods
After leading a miserable life, Ryouma Takebayashi passes away at age 39.
Three deities, taking pity on him, reincarnate him into a fantasy world with an aptitude for magic, telling him to enjoy life and that they will always watch out for him.
With his newfound existence, he spends it studying slimes, amassing a slime army, and learning some magic, but he misses humanity. Being persuaded to join a group of travelers, Ryouma’s new world opens up for him.
Both Fluffy Paradise and By The Grace of The Gods are “softer” isekai anime about a main character reincarnated into a fantasy world as a child. They both also feature them developing a passion for creatures, though By The Grace of The Gods is focused specifically on slimes.
Both series are rather light on any sort of overall plot. In fact, much of it is just the characters enjoying slice of life activities like starting a business or, in the case of Fluffy Paradise, being a child.
Sweet Reincarnation
Without realizing his dream of making the world’s best pastry, a promising pastry chef suddenly dies. However, he is reincarnated into a new world as the young noble, Pastry Mille Morteln.
Although he is the eldest son of an impoverished country lord, he is determined to still follow his dreams of being a pastry chef even in his new life. Now, he balances fulfilling expectations as an aristocrat while also gathering all the ingredients he needs to make wonderful confections as he builds his dream kingdom of sweets.
Both Fluffy Paradise and Sweet Reincarnation are isekai anime about characters reincarnated into a new world as a child who still retains their passion from their previous life. While Neema in Fluffy Paradise enjoys animals, Sweet Reincarnation has Pastry continue his passion for baking confections – despite the world making things like sugar and other necessary ingredients rare and expensive.
Sweet Reincarnation has a more typical isekai plot to it. When he isn’t making moves to improve his father’s barony so he can obtain or create ingredients for baking, he is saving the villagers with his skills, magic, and cleverness. It is still low on action, but it does have some.
For Fans of Slice of Life Isekai
I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level
Dying from overwork, Azusa Aizawa is allowed to reincarnate into a new world as a witch that will live forever.
Wanting to never be overworked again, she leisurely kills slimes in order to pay for living expenses. However, this meager amount of XP stacks over 300 years of doing it, and she finds herself at max level.
Fearing someone will try to thrust work upon her, she decides to try and hide her strength.
Both Fluffy Paradise and 300 Slimes are primarily slice of life-focused isekai anime about office ladies that were overworked to death and just want to do things they love in their new life.
However, while Fluffy Paradise has a main character actively integrated in society and occasionally involved in some kind of actual plot, 300 Slimes is purely slice of life. She often just makes new friends who force their way into her life as a hermit, and does pleasant things with them without any sort of plot.
Campfire Cooking in Another World With My Absurd Skill
Alongside three other heroes, Mukouda Tsuyoshi was transported to a fantasy world to save a kingdom.
However, it becomes very apparent that he was summoned as a mistake when the only skill he has is to be able to open an interface to purchase food items from modern Japan.
Kicked out into the world, Tsuyoshi sets out into the world and his ability to make delicious dishes soon pays off. He attracted the attention of legendary wolf Fenrir who enjoyed the meal so much that he forms a pact with him to be his familiar.
Now employed as a merchant and adventurer, he travels and cooks to earn a living.
While Fluffy Paradise and Campfire Cooking in Another World are isekai anime with two different primary focuses, they are both set around “softer” slice of life activites rather than just another OP protagonist in an action isekai.
Fluffy Paradise is about wanting to pet animals in a fantasy land while Campfire Cooking in Another World is about a main character whose only isekai skill is access to a Japanese grocery and his cooking skills from his old life. What they share in common most of all, however, is the main characters are both best friends with legendarily powerful – and legendarily fluffy – beasts, much to the surprise of everyone else in the world.
I Shall Survive Using Potions
While walking home from her office job, Kaoru Nagase is approached by a man dressed all in white who apologizes for a mistake that led to her early death. To make up for this mistake, he vows to let her reincarnate into another world.
Introducing her to Celestine, the goddess for her new world, the goddess reforms Kaoru’s body and grants her a few requests for her new life. Alongside now being a young woman again, Kaoru asks for a box with infinite storage space as well as the ability to make any potion she can think of.
Starting off her new life in a medieval world, Kaoru realizes that there isn’t much magic in the world, which causes her magnificent abilities to make her the frequent target of greedy nobles. However, using the cunning she honed from before her death, Kaoru does her best to help those that need helping and avoid becoming anyone’s tool.
Both Fluffy Paradise and I Shall Survive Using Potions feature office ladies who are given a chance to reincarnate into a fantasy world with a special power that they get to hand-pick. While Fluffy Paradise features the main character start from a child, as thus her power isn’t as immediately noticeable as overpowered, I Shall Survive Using Potions plops the main character down as a young adult.
These two series are both “softer” isekai where the adventure isn’t the focus. They are just trying to live their new lives happily and not get locked down due to their overpowered skills. That said, there is also a bit of intrigue that they often unwillingly get entangled in, but solve quickly due to their overpowered abilities.
