After dying, Asahi Ikusaba was transported to another world. While he tries to enjoy his isekai adventure, he finds that his abilities are rather lackluster. Just as he is about to be attacked, Asahi’s elder sister Maya manifests in his new world and saves him.
As he discovers, Maya is the overpowered one in this isekai adventure! With cheat-level skills, she is the world’s strongest older sister with the world’s strongest brother complex.
You’ve had MILFsekai, but now is the time for Oneesekai. Even if you aren’t in it for the brocon elements, My One-Hit Kill Sister can be pretty fun if you don’t take it too seriously. If you are looking for more anime recommendations like My One-Hit Kill Sister, head on down below.

For Fans of Overshadowed In My Own Isekai!?
Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?
After finishing a random survey, Masato becomes involved in a government scheme that transports him inside of a game.
Excited to begin his new life as an adventurer, he is thoroughly disappointed when his mother, Mamako, ends up being there as well. Eventually giving in to her companionship, they start their journey.
What My One-Hit Kill Sister is to older sister enthusiasts, Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks is to MILF enjoyers. It is very much the same joke, and played out the same way.
Both series feature generic male main characters who are isekai’d with a family member. Excited to be an isekai protagonist, they quickly find out that they are pretty average, but their family member is wildly overpowered. They both find it incredibly difficult to be mad about this since they get so much affection from their OP family member.
Life with an Ordinary Guy who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout
On their way home from a mixer, average guy Tachibana and his handsome best friend Jinguuji are attacked by a naked goddess.
When they wake up in another world, she tells them that they are heroes and tasks them with killing a demon lord.
However, much to the chagrin of woman-hating Jinguuji, Tachibana has been transformed into a super cute girl!
Imagine being isekai’d only to find out that you are not overpowered immediately, but the person you got isekai’d with sure is.
Both My One-Hit Kill Sister and Life with an Ordinary Guy who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout are isekai comedies that lean very hard on pretty much one joke. The main character isn’t strong, and his companion constantly has to save them. Both series feature characters that are pretty annoyed by the situation.
Konosuba
On his way back from buying a new game, Kazuma Satou died a pathetic death.
However, he awakens before the Goddess Aqua who gives him two choices: go to heaven or reincarnate into an actual fantasy world. Naturally, the gamer picks the fantasy world.
Now, Kazuma must deal with defeating an evil demon king, useless party members, and paying living expenses.
Konosuba and My One-Hit Kill Sister are comedy isekai anime about main characters whose isekai adventures don’t go as planned. They both wanted to be overpowered main characters, but instead end up as pretty weak main characters who have strong companions with personality flaws.
The big difference is that My One-Hit Kill Sister is really just one joke that it repeats over and over on a variety of adventures. Konosuba invests in a diversity of jokes, though mostly because it often has more characters in play.
For Fans of Overly Affectionate Older Sisters
Onee-chan ga Kita
When his father remarried, 13-year-old Tomoya Mizuhara got a new big sister as well as a new stepmother. His new sister, 17-year-old Ichika, is a bit odd, but overwhelming with her affectionate for him.
If My One-Hit Kill Sister didn’t have an isekai plot to fill the time with, it would be a short-form anime like Onee-chan Ga Kita.
Onee-chan Ga Kita fills its 3-minute episodes with a similar thing that My One-Hit Kill Sister fills its full length-episodes with – aggressive affection from an older sister.
She’s really into her younger (step) brother, like, a lot. It’s the joke in both series.
Kiss X Sis
After his father got remarried, Keita found himself with a new mother and two twin older step-sisters. However, as the girls transitioned into teenagers, their brotherly love for Keita turned into something more.
Why have one aggressively affectionate older sister when you can have two in competition with each other?
Just like Maya and Kilmaria butt heads over Asahi, so too do the twin sisters in Kiss X Sis fight over their new young (step) brother.
That said, while My One-Hit Kill Sister sister enjoys some ecchi-adjacent comedy, Kiss X Sis is full-on lewd. If you like your aggressively affectionate sisters to be fully into ecchi comedy, then Kiss X Sis is for you.
Danchigai
Haruki Nakano is a high schooler whose mother lives overseas for work. While she is away, he shares an apartment with his four sisters who all love their only brother!
If you enjoyed My One-Hit Kill Sister for its sister-based comedy and not so much its isekai plot, then Danchigai is for you.
Like My One-Hit Kill Sister, Danchigai focuses on a brother’s life with his four sisters. So while not exclusively an older sister-based comedy, it still has one.
As Danchigai is a short-form anime with only 3-minute episodes, it give you a more wholesome dose of affectionate sister-brother relationships without overstaying its welcome.
For Fans of Older Women All Love This Nice Young Man, Ara Ara
Miss Caretaker of Sunohara Hall
Due to his feminine looks, Shiina Aki is always being treated like a girl. In order to change, he decides to attend a middle school in Tokyo.
Staying that the Sunohara boarding house, he meets the caretaker Sunohara Ayaka as well the three other girls that live there who happen to be on the student council of his new middle school.
My One-Hit Kill Sister is built around a nice, average guy who is a magnet for the affections of older women – just like Miss Caretaker of Sunohara Hall.
Both series are about guys whose wholesome energy attracts older women that just want to cuddle him in their bosom. However, Miss Caretaker of Sunohara Hall is not an isekai and, while still ecchi, is more moe in its are style.
Tsukimichi
Makoto Misumi is just an ordinary boy, but one night after learning his parents were from another world and guaranteed their travel to Japan by agreeing to give up what they care about most one day, he is transported to another world.
Unfortunately, the goddess of that world finds him ugly and in all ways repulsive.
She flings him to the corner of the world with her only gift being the ability to understand, speak, and write monster languages. With gifts from his previous worlds’ god, Tsukuyomi, and enhanced abilities from growing up in a non-magical world, Makoto sets out to make a life for himself.
Alongside both being isekai anime, both My One-Hit Kill Sister and Tsukimichi are isekai comedy anime where the main character’s adventure goes off the rails. However, unlike in My One-Hit Kill Sister, the main character in Tsukimichi is actually overpowered. The comedy here comes from the fact that everyone except the beast races thinks he’s very ugly.
Regardless, both series feature a rather average main character with very, very strong and very, very overly attached female companions, some of which used to be evil.
Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory
After their home burns down and he is abandoned by his father, Koushi Nagumo wanders homeless until he collapses on the street. He is found by a woman named Mineru and taken to a female dormitory.
Koushi discovers that Mineru is the temporary manager there, and she invites him to be the permanent dorm mother to the problematic female residents.
Do you ever wish that My One-Hit Kill Sister, with its big ara ara oneesan energy, has just ever so slightly more ecchi jokes? Well, good news!
Both My One-Hit Kill Sister and Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory are built around nice young men who have the very affectionate love of a variety of older women. However, Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory isn’t an isekai and instead commits itself to a ecchi harem plot.
