Anime Like Rock is a Lady’s Modesty

Lilisa Suzunomiya was born a normal nobody, but when her mother married into the wealthy Suzunomiya family, she tries her best to be the perfect refined lady so as to not shame her mother, even if it meant giving up on her passion for rock music and playing guitar.

Lilisa now attends an elite academy and strives for perfection so she can be named the top student and prove to her new family that she is every bit worthy of the Suzunomiya name. However, when she walks in on Otoha Kurogane, a model student who is admired by all, jamming out psychopathically on the drums in the old school building, Lilisa finds herself drawn into the allure of rock once again as they decide to start a band together.

After growing up in a small rural town with strict parents, Nina Iseri leaves it all behind to start over in the city. With her time in the city off to a rough start, she ends up going to a street concert for Momoka Kawaragi, a small musician whose song inspired Nina to move to the city in the first place.

Getting to know Momoko, and discovering that both of them are at odds with the disappointing, dream-crushing nature of the world, she talks Nina into forming a band with her as a way to vent their frustrations.

This is the story about two very different girls with the same goal.

She died, of course, but 10 years later, she wakes up as… a zombie.

However, her story is just beginning as a man wants her and several other undead girls from throughout Japan’s history to become a regional idol group to save Saga from becoming an obscure prefecture.

With a cute face, good grades, and a flawless friendly facade, Hime Shiraki hopes to land herself a rich husband by being the picture of perfection.

However, after she takes a tumble down some stairs, she lands on Mai Mikoshiba, injuring the girl’s arm. It turns out that Mai is the manager of a cafe, and she uses her injury to make Hime help out there.

This is how Hime ended up at Cafe Liebe, an all-girls academy-themed cafe where she stumbles through the work and one of the other waitresses seems to hate her for no apparent reason.

After being forced out of her idol group due to a stalker fostering her discomfort with men, Ai Narata seeks to use her talents at the prestigious Kouka School of Musical and Theatrical Arts. This school has gained renown for producing the best actresses, and Ai fits their criteria even if her demeanor alienates her from her classmates.

Upon entering school, Ai meets the tall and eccentric Sasara Watanabe who causes friction of her own with her classmates. Together, these girls find that they will need more than just talent to succeed at the school and earn their prestige.

Known at the Rainbow Bullet, Eve is infamous among those that bet on underground golf. She has soundly beat every opponent with only just three clubs in her gold bag. However, when Eve catches the eye of professional golfer Aoi Amawashi and plays a clean game against her, she is both captivated and shaken by her defeat at the hands of this girl known as the “Innocent Tyrant” that soundly beats every opponent with a smile.

After this game-changing game, Eve starts to break free of the underworld’s hold on her and begins to take her golf game to the next level in aboveboard competitions with Aoi.

The popular indie band Detroit Metal City is known for captivating audiences with its dark death metal. The lead singer in particular, Johannes Krauser II, is infamous for being like a demon straight out of hell.

However, unbeknownst to their many worshipers, Krauser’s normal self is the soft-spoken average college student Souichi.

Switching between them leads this young man on a number of misadventures.

This bit of mischief sparked a series of small games in the classroom between them, annoying the nearby deadpan Kasumi who hates games after being teased mercilessly by her older sister for always losing.

However, the mischief eventually draws all three of them into the Pastime Club, a club Hanako created just to goof off.
