Anime Like The Darwin Incident

When the Animal Liberation Alliance, an eco-terrorist organization, breaks into a government lab, they try to rescue a pregnant chimpanzee. When she gives birth, they discover that she was pregnant with a human-chimp hybrid named Charlie.

Adopted to a human family, fifteen years later, Humanzee Charlie’s parents are ready to let their son try attending a human school where he makes friends with a girl named Lucy. However, the Animal Liberation Alliance has become more radical over the years and seek to draw Charlie into their new terrorist plot.

After a terrorist attack on a Japanese nuclear facility, the country was paralyzed to act. After six months of searching for the perpetrators, the public is shown a video of two boys known as Sphinx who take credit for a recent bomb attack. The pair are soon linked to the terrorist attack on the nuclear facility by police.

Threatening more mayhem to come, it is up to the police to catch these terrorists. However, Sphinx has been very careful to never kill anyone with their attacks. Instead, they hope to use them to expose a secret government experiment and its cruelty.

In a near-future society, humanity has integrated with intelligent technology so deeply that robots are sometimes indiscernible from people and humans can upgrade themselves into more durable humanoid forms.

During the towns’ 10th anniversary, Michiru, a human that has recently turned into a tanuki, visits the city in an attempt to find a cure for her sudden transformation. Unfortunately, there is a explosion in the square, and she gets caught up in the event.

Together with the white wolf Shirou, the pair look into the explosion and find that there is indeed more to Michiru’s beastification.

At the start of the new school year, Mari bumps into a tardy student and discovers that he is a Beastfolk who is going to attend her school. Although not uncommon for Beastfolk and humans to interact, they typically live in a walled off section of the city and face prejudice in human society.

While nervous at first, she begins to learn about the tender soul under the coat of fur, finding herself draw more and more to him.

One night, sixteen-year-old Shinichi Izumi was peacefully sleeping when a race of parasitic aliens descended on Earth.
