It does seem to start like a generic fighting isekei, but turns more into a comedy. I rarely review anime–I don’t often get opportunity for first viewings–but I like watching this one. Sub and dub casts are great, the characters are interesting and sympathetic (except for the nasty Satanists and demons of course), there is a bit of a mystery about just how the main character ended up as his star character (but not in his own game and its world!), and Aku won’t be the last waif he will end up protecting and helping.
