Recommend Me Manga: 15 Ecchi Manga That Have No Anime Adaptation (Yet)

Here at Recommend Me Anime, we don’t do manga series in our recommendations, just anime. However, that doesn’t mean that anime fans don’t also like to lie in bed and read a few good chapters of manga every now and then.

And besides, where do many good anime series come from in the first place – The pages of manga.

Famidol!

One day, a girl asks Shouta to take a picture of her with Enoshima in the background. However, she is so cute that he gets embarrassed and runs away after snapping it.

He later discovers she is an actress filming in his home town. In order to get ready for her role, she suddenly asks Shouta to be her boyfriend.

Ai Kora

Where most young men lust after the whole woman, Maeda only likes specific parts of a woman. When he moves to attend school in Tokyo, he finds himself in a dorm with five unique girls, each one having a trait he likes.

Whether it is beautiful blue eyes or “bullet train” breasts, can he keep a straight head around these ladies?

Pastel

Heartbroken after his girlfriend moved away, Mugi takes a summer job at a beach snack bar. It is there that his friend sets him up on a date with Yuu who is less than perfect but a good rebound.

Nana and Kaoru

Kaoru is pure, but has a bit of an S&M fetish. He has always dreamed about trying it with his childhood friend Nana, but they have drifted apart.

One day, Kaoru’s mother gives away some of his S&M stuff to Nana. She accidentally tries on a leather one piece, ending up stuck without a key.

When Kaoru lets her out, Nana confesses that she may have more interest in his hobby than she thought.

Technical school student Tatsuhiko Kido discovers a hole in the wall of his school’s dorms. Next door, he spots his neighbor Ikuno Emiru having a little… private time, but he is caught peeping.

When he tries to play it off by reporting the hole to her, she tries to shut him out. While pursuing her, she catches a picture of him in a compromising position and begins to blackmail him… into stripping.

After sharing his ice cream with a high school girl, she promises to take care of 13 year old Kouta while his dad is on a business trip.

Minamoto’s Story

In middle school, the feminine-looking Terumi Minamoto was bullied by girls in his school after a popular boy declared him the prettiest girl of them all. After developing a fear of women, he is still trying to change himself as he enter college.

This becomes complicated when his father brings home a pregnant woman and declares her to be his new mother. Making things worse, she is also a teacher at his college with a reputation as a man-hater.

However, after she discovers that he suffered due to his looks, his new mother aims to “raise” him into the perfect lover, just like Genji from The Tale of Genji, a work that is her research thesis.

IO

Taiyo is finally going down to Okinawa in search of diving adventures and pretty girls. However, when flirting with a girl, she surprises him by saying he killed her mother.

He is pretty sure he has never been to Okinawa, but as he spends time with the girl and her sisters, he uncovers a series of mysterious childhood memories.

Hammer Session

Yazama Yuu is an escaped prisoner wanted for racking up theft as a con man. On pure accident, he manages to hide himself as the new teacher at a junior high school.

There, under his new assumed name, he uses his skills as a con man to help his students.

Maga Tsuki

Yasuke has finally worked up the courage to confess to his childhood friend, Akari. As he will have dinner with their family at the shrine, he rushes through the daily rituals and ends up breaking a sacred mirror.

Now, a goddess curses him and states he will die if he is separated from this goddess. Unfortunately for him, she is a goddess of misfortune.

Saru Lock

Yataro Sarumaru only has girls on his mind, but very little luck with them. However, working with his father, a locksmith, he uses his newfound locksmithing skills to solve local mysteries and help pretty ladies.

Umi no Misaki

Goto Nagi is traveling down to the island of Okitsushima to see the striking cape, Umi no Misaki. However, when he gets there, he finds a wondrous view and something not quite right with the locals.
