You, too, may have fallen prey to the Grisaia trap of cute anime girls and found yourself in a series of building complexity. It is the visual novel trap. Indeed based off a visual novel, The Grisaia series takes the common visual novel anime path of exploring the individual problems of each girl as you watch their “routes” unfold. However, while that is all manageable in one series, Grisaia has become rather complicated to the person trying to get into it for the first time. How to Watch the Grisaia Anime in Order
If you want to watch the Grisaia anime, there is a fair amount of it you can skip. However, I have put together this full list of every entry. We will discuss which parts to skip and why you might want to afterwards.

What Parts Are Optional?
Not all of the above is necessary to watch. For example, the “specials” for Fruit, Labyrinth, and Eden are all well worth a skip., They are essentially three-minute episodes for each girl that accentuate ecchi moments. You should skip them unless you want to watch those ecchi moments.
Phantom Trigger is also optional, not because it is ecchi or even bad, but rather just because it is an unrelated spin-off featuring different characters. It does specifically take place after the events of Eden, though. So it should be watched after Eden if you do decide to watch it.
